Lafayette House was erected by Aaron Everett in 1784 and was used as a tavern during the busy days of the Old Norfolk and Bristol Turnpike from 1806 to 1835.  In December of 1988, the restaurant was restored and decorated to create a warm, cozy, relaxed dining experienced with old values.  Our beautiful function rooms can accommodate from 15 to 250 guests for your Wedding Reception, Rehearsal Dinner, and Bridal Shower!

Enclosed you will find some of our menu suggestions.  However, keep in mind that we can customize an event to your liking with specialty linen Selections, Ice Carvings, Martini bars, or a Chocolate fountain for that special touch!  If there’s something special you want, don’t hesitate to ask.  You are limited only by your imagination…………. . . . . . .

  • Seven days prior to the function is the deadline for all Meal plans and Floor Plans. We will contact you after 11:00 a.m
  •  Final payment will be required the seven days prior to the function.
  • Liquor/Food Policy: No food, cakes, or beverages of any kind will be permitted onto or removed from the premises by the patron or any guest.
  • Specialty Entrees available for individual guests on an as needed basis.
  • All Weddings require a non-refundable, non-transferable Deposit. Amounts listed below.
